Man ive had both with and without huge power, and i would go with a locker every time..at least you can be sure what it will do!! and yeah ive broken axles and never had a car spear off to one side..but ive been able to drive home still! locker all the way for me Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

real men have locked diffs XD i have snapped to many lsd's built up for 'hard usage' to even consider bothering with one again the spool is cheaper and more cost effective in my opinion and alot more fun on the street

Lockers are good for just that, burnouts, and other 14 year old crap. LSDs are for people who want a real diff.

A locker wins hands down for me, but I like the feeling of a nice tight lsd kicking the car out a few meters from a stand still you get the mild hesitation and bam. Either way you go it'l sure beat an open centre.

I couldnt believe the difference going from open centre to lsd I have a mini spool in the EH and its a **** to drive around car parks and in the wet. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

i have had 2 daily cars with spools one vn 5lr 4.11s and a vr. i loved it awesome fun in the wet but gotta watch out for gutters they come at u quick its easy to control than a lsd but u got problems with u turns but its not that bad. i never broke a axel or had any problems and there easy to install if u know wat your doing for $100 i think it was worth it. just dont be dump when u first put it in and go do burnouts in side streets go some where with room so u can get a feel for it. and if its going into vl exec with 25sl i wouldnt even bother

Diff place didnt want to know about it even though I told them the car is for burnouts and drag racing. I put a spool in it after that. It always turns two tyres not one and sometimes two, if it gets sideways you can control it much better and the worst im going to do is break an axle. I wouldnt put it in my car if it were a daily driver but I wouldnt look back to an LSD now for a weekend / drag car. Couldnt have put it better myself! put ****ty stockys on it and yer they will make noise. with my 18s and brand new tires the thing doesnt make a sound or shudder. wet weather no stress at all. Power and spool is a lot safer than having an underpowered vehicle and a ****ty lsd that spins one then without warning turns the other. the less power u put through ur lsd the more stress on the lsd and it will fail. seen it 100 times. if the cars **** then keep it open wheel. if its got some good power and is driven everyday get a lsd built right and tight. Spool ftw
