Simple fix to this problem, dont take the ****in dipstick out while the car is running, why are you doing that anyway? Checking the oil? Lol.....

oil blows out my dipstick when i give it a thrashing, its all over my engine bay and hitting the underside of the bonnet, the oil level is reading above low but no where near high after putting 5 litres into it for my recent oil and filter change, could i be sufffering a blockage, also after the oil change my oil pressure gauge (stock one on the dash) now sits on 5 constantly and doesnt move at all, i woulda thought my oil level reading should be higher, my gauge should be working and there shouldnt be oil coming out what appears to be the dipstick, i think it could be a block, but i dont know where to start, any advice

another very basic check too, with car idling, undo the oil cap, if you feel any pressure at all coming out the engine is stuffed/worn rings etc. if you still have the standard pcv valve it should be sucking, if you have an oil catch can you will just not feel anything if the engine is still ok, but if you clearly can feel pressure, its in a bad way.

i have the pcv valve AND an oil catch can, one line comes off the back breather (one closest to firewall) to the can and the other goes from the can to the air intake pipe. and the front breather is going to the plenum which i'd assumed was the pcv valve. i'm going to check my plugs on weekend, but i still dont understand why my oil is squirting out the dipstick under heavy load.

I've never set up a catch can on my car, but I think both breathers should go to the can and then another hose should run from the top of the can to the PCV valve. That's how I imagine it would work best anyway.

Just crimp the top of the dipstick tube mate!!!! Easy fix. Some people will attach a spring to the dipstick. and that catch can setup you have is basically a waste of time....

the crankcase shouldnt be pressurised- thats just masking a bigger problem. If you crimp it so none of the pressure can get out then your going to cause even more problems.

On a boosted car, there is going to be blow-by, end of story.

but shouldnt the blow by be going into the catch can like it used too, not out the dipstick. i'm going to upgrade my catch can setup soon so that both the breathers on the rocker cover are going to a new can with an air filter on top and a return line to the sump on the bottom. do i just block off the hole that will be left on the side of my standard plenum?
