I'll rephrase that last post about wanting everything black.... not everything, the plenum is standard , turbo is still silver. not everything is black there are still plenty of things that are standard color. black does hide a lot though

thanks man cars running a little rough atm needs to be looked at. I look and stare the car sitting there ever wanting to change things. you know you have a sickness from vls when you watch other people builds and some of them have taken really great paths with their builds. I wish I could have experienced every build like it was my own. I need to omit myself into the vl psych ward!

Loving this build mate, makes me regret ever selling my SL, I'm going after a similar engine setup to yours. How's the turbo on lag? My mate has an internal gate on his xr6 and its pretty laggy, but when it comes on there's no traction lol

thanks mate. cars still not on the road yet.... gotta do the brake booster. getting jpc to take a look at the running in tune. gonna get them to run it in on the dunno as well. it's running like **** atm. I just want it to be run in already so I can wire up the 044's and surge tank, boost controller and then throw some boost into it!

Love this build mate This is one of the few VLs that I'm using as inspiration for mine Clean, original exterior, with some nice goodies under the bonnet Should be sweet when she's running nice and smooth Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

thanks mate probably shoulda kept the whole build pretty standard and shouldn't have changed the exterior too much from the original SL Executive look. the problem is I love the look of an SL Turbo, Berlina Turbo and the Calais Turbo.... this is a slight problem because it causes me to ever want to change things lol so I've gone through it looking as an exec and now a berlina. knowing my luck it will be a calais by summer -.-

ok so went to open the door the other day and the handle broke -.- ........ got a replacement and also a new window reg because the one I had is missing 5 teeth on the mechanism. fixed those items and also fixed drivers side mirror, cleaned the clutch fan and fitted fan shroud. now all gotta do is brakes and the catch can.

UPDATE: VT Booster/Vt master combo installed ready to go fuel reg and fittings to fuel rail done. custom catch can done. ---------- Post added 16-06-13 at 11:35 ---------- had to change the top cooler pipe as it was squashing the leads and hitting the bonnet. had this made up... needs to be painted still.

turns out something happend between my cam and lifters. both are getting replaced by jpc atm. fitted with a tx2 cam.

I dont see you having any issue selling it for 9k.. But it really depends on the market I guess.
