I TOTALLY agree with you they are the best/staunchest looking, i just don't like driving them otherwise i would have one. What made it worse i drove a r33 and it was ten times better and newer, but they look overweight and blobby.
My plan is to buy a R34gtst in a couple of yrs if business keeps progressing and put my driveline out of the 31 and some weld alumastars/bodykit
on it and sell the 31 as a roller, might even keep the 34 manual. Its all coin though....good luck, its worth the money
cheers

now no stock $40,000 evo/sti can beat that for funny and id put money on it to beat them through the hills any day all you have to look at is the last few years of targa tasmania
good luck buddy id go ^^ that up there if your thinking of spending around that figure its just in a class of its own.

Pimp vl your wrong, ha,ha. Knowing some of those R34 that came up top of targa, and talking to people that built them...um they stretch the rules a bit..enough to make a big difference, they cheat pretty hard. the evos and wrx are way down on power for those events, and don't have the arsenal of having other evo/wrx parts of better wrx/evos, they they can make look like standard parts, if you catch my drift.(turbos/injectors etc)I mean its possible to build a 550-600hp gtr with "standard" bits.
Evos are also the most highly restricted cars in GTP racing, they had to be otherwise they would be way to far out in front, even now they still were winning with the boost capped (think it was less than standard)
I have talked to people aswell that write for well known magazines and test drive them, and they all agreed that the evo comes out on top by a long shot.
The porsche 911 twin turbo was king, and the evo has always come a close second. The r35 has finally changed all that.
I bet you my house pimpn vl that if you drove a evo back to back with a r34, you would be faster with no previous experience by a LONG margin in the evo.throught the adelaide hills. They are still the best hills car i have ever driven, and i have driven wrxs, gtr's, gt3 porsches, evo 6.5's.
And Nimbin people would smoke all there dope before they ever thought of selling it, that place is a dump, ha,ha drive through it and blink and you miss it
First post ive seen without "cheers darren"
MINT vlt, Hopefully it goes to the right home if it sells

lol i don't want your house mate
well yes you probably do have me in a sense, i guess your background of liking evo's and myself having a big liking to skylines were probably never going to agree but maybe i was exaggerating when i said such a heavy powerful skyline is quicker then a light small evo but hey personally i would enjoy that straight 6 torque/power under my feet and i've driven an sti so i have a rough idea of what the evo is like but each to their own, even if i did end up in a tree because of under steer lol. well even though i give the evo big credit i can't see that they would have total domination over the rest of the japanese field with in most categories of motorsport. should be good to see the new R35 agaist the evo in the bathust 24 hour and then you might have to hand over your house keys mate but yer fair point
