Recently ive had both my figures were: N/A with 2.1/2" sports exhaust roughly 420km per tank Factory Turbo with FMIC, 3" Exhaust, new fuel pumps, cleaned injectors, new 02 sensors around 380km per tank, both city driving i used to have really bad economy something like 260km per tank, was running really rich and got it tuned and changed 2 sensors and it went up to about 350km per tank.

Not sure if you guys have done the math here. But to get 8.5L/100km you need to be getting about 740k's to a tank.... Unlikely if your car is standard. I just done a trip down to benalla and back and it says roughly 460 on my clock and I still have a 1/4 of a tank. So I guess Maybe dip into the 10.5-11 But I wouldnt think it would be much lower than that...

I've never really worked it out around the city, and it gets driven too rarely to work it out properly these days, but the best I've ever had from the turbo 5-speed sedan was 550km's out on the Nullarbor about 5 years ago. It was a bit of an econo run so didn't do much more than 115km/h for the duration of that tankful. With a 55 litre fill at the end it was spot on 10l/100km's. Scary when you're stuck out there, coaxing it along on vapours, hoping you'll make it to the next servo. Turbo auto wagon fully loaded is a bit less.
