Cars all good now. The fitter was chosen because they had a similar setup in his own Rotary. Just have to sort cooling now, ive purchased a 3 core alloy rad, so that should help things during summer. Does anybody know if its ok to run no BOV on a lpg setup? should be ok? i duno if it has to do with anything with the balance line if you run no bov?? i wouldnt think so. The car doses its head off (if u like that sorta thing).

No drama puttin a bov on a lpg setup. The balance line is only there to give the gas convertor/s a boost reference. B nice to see a real quick gra rotary!!

Definately give Adicted Performance a call. i have nothing but praise for the guys there. Ben does a fantastic job tuning and is always there to help you out and all the boys there take good care of your car. The clappers at Gas Research Dandenong were struggling to get 230rwkw outta mine, and it ran like crap. Gas research couldnt work out wat was wrong for afew months (problem turned out to be the pathetic excuse for a mechanic holding the end of the tools). Dropped it off at Adicted and before i knew it it was making 300+kw at the wheels, and braking traction at 100km/h. The fastest lpg calais is from there stable and my car does ok too. If your serious definately go see them or give them a buzz. Keep in mind different people have had different experiences with the same workshops. Best to go in yourself and decide who is right for you.

adicted are alright and ben knows his sh1t from my experience so far but... -my car isnt making huge power -ben is impossible to get on the phone and never returns calls -the workshop is a good hour drive from mine with minimal traffic still deciding what i should do coz i really dont want to jump to another workshop Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Well, where do i begin? For starters, my car was never a workshop car. It was built by Ben and myself in his garage over 3 years ago, before he was even at adicted. The only time my car has seen a workshop is to use the dyno AND to sought the diff out and build a 1-piece tailshaft. The last time my car was at Adicted, it was there for maintenance(change of gaskets on the lpg convertors). Ive been happy dealing with Ben and Danko and have thanked them for their work. Vltrb-o, issues with tuning? How does 372rwkw on 30.7psi sound to you, all day every day, as a daily driver? The only issues the car has ever had, exploding an unwelded proxy bresciani plenum(and if i cbf 1 day ill put photos up). A bent control arm, which popped a slick on launch at the track and a coil which failed, which Michael from IC&E ignition was more than happy to change over for me. Few diff bearings and a tailshaft. Sounds like teething problems, just like every car. Never blew a headgasket, nor have i played with the transmission convertor. On top of that, every outing the car went to, i drove their and back AND went quicker every time, bar the last where i had traction issues. Where they the issues you were reffering to??? FORZA, you pmd me a while back, and asked for contact details for the people responsible in my build. I was more than happy to pass on those details, and what you did with them is your business. I cant control whether or not someone answers their phone. If you were genuine in building something serious, maybe you should spend less time whinging on the net and pointing the finger, and maybe go for a trip down to the shop and discuss with them what your issues are. Further more, the car is in pieces, it is sold, and no longer exists, time to move on to bigger and better things...

LPG cars are notorious for backfiring, it genuinely can prevented 100%. If something as simple as a vacuum hose off ur plenum splits or comes loose, it leans the fark out and kaboom! Its racing, occasionally sh1t happens. Chris`s car has been unbelievably reliable and is a credit to Chris. Full respect to anyone who drives to the track, races in full street trim, runs countless consistent 10.3 and cruises home.
