They look cool, but I personally think the Brock cars should be remembered for what they were at the time, rather than making new replicas... they will never have the same impact and will only devalue the look of the original cars

Not a fan either. If Aussie Touring cars were still around and these were homologation cars racing against other different brands, makes and models then it might be something special. VE HSV's are more "special" then these! You can't get much better then what Holden/HSV produce these days. Back in the 70's/80's GTHO's, Chargers, and XU1's were the manufactuers top cars of that time. What I'm saying is, I doubt these things would be any better then the top of the range HSV making them not so special at all.

Wow this has a lot of divided opinions, I personally don't embrace the thought of them continuing the whole HDT Brock design after Brocky' passed away from us sadly, however I'm all for the concept designs, they look hot. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

I was thinking the same, why try to slap on a 80's theme on a 2007 car which has a completely different look than the original. Doesnt go well IMO and also the whole reviving the HDT thing should have been scrapped from day one. The only time legend should be bought back to life is if it can surpass what its up against more than how much the original surpassed what it was up against. Just like the GTHO falcon, if it ever gets re created it will have to be some sort of monster, something that will make peoples jaw drop. You dont revive the GTHO with just 10KW more than a GT and extra stripes

Here's my 2 cents: Love the blue Ve with the white wheels. I reckon a HDT model not a brock it should be classified as.
