^^^^ S**t Does anyone remember that black BMW 7 series that was stripped in the driveway of this bloke in Sydney a year or 2 ago. The complete interior, engine and most of the panels were taken and the street didnt hear or see anything. The owner came out in the morning to go to work and the car was a shell in the driveway. Ill see if i can find the article

damn they really did a number on it. A mates VL was stolen from a shopping center in Maitland about 4 years ago the cops found it 6 hours later thats right only 6 hours later and there was nothing but a shell left everything that could be removed was removed it was so light 2 cops lifted the shell to get it further off the road

I smell a rat with that one, i recon they have stripped it that much to get it back at auction and put it back together. The car will be written off and removing the roof will discourage people bidding on it. The roof cuts are very clean and it wouldnt be that hard to buy it, put it back together and have it removed off a written off vehicle register.

I recon so aswell, hence why they left the engine - if the engine was taken aswell it would of made more effort to source a 2nd one... more then likely the same reason they left the air bag intact so it didnt make it a statutory write-off...

Really once you get a legal chasis and engine your free to do what you like its like if i bought A VL CALAIS THEN WENT AND STOLE A DUN UP 1 and just swapped my engine block and all parts i wanted over and id tags no1 will tell the difference. And ya that Prada mate i believe that in 1 night mate it would be going to another prada that has had a stuffed roof. what 4wd's did they use in jurassic park lol. pretty lame to think the best and quickest panel beating work happens when ya car get flogged next time my panel beater say i need ya car for 2 weeks imma say get Fcuked i seen these guys do it in 1 night so who u playin lol.

Wholly ****!!! Thats absolutely hardcore! I'd definetely agree that panelbeaters done this. No ordinary thief could work around a NEW car like that in a night. Simply amazing.

doesnt have to b pannel beaters think about it 4 or 5 guys a 9 inch grinder they didnt even pull out the motor and box so its really not that much work involed also by ne chance did dis have a sunroof???? mayb dats why they cut the roof off and i think more then likely everything from this car went to a base model toyota

My moneys still on someone bought a cheap roll over or something and is sourcing parts.
