Same here with raceshift, had a VL turbo box built that supposedly could handle 250rwkw and it farked up took it to KEAS and he disassembled it in front of me and it was all N/A internals ! no kevlar bands or anything. Only thing that was legit was the TCE stally.
I recommend KEAS (GZM automotive) just near Edgars Rd, Thomo.

I got mine fully rebuilt and shift kited at Transtyle in Hallam...highly recommend them. Speak to Joe he's a guru lol...drove my car for about 2mins round the block and knew exactly what was going on in the auto..

Some of my mates have had boxes built by both preston and raceshift, all disasters.
One sent in his trimatic to be built (I won't say by who) for his commodore and it was a genuine low k box out of his dad's 1 owner car, he asked if they were definately going to use his box (ie not change over) they said yes, he got given back a kingswood trimatic (can't use in a commodore with std shifter as the selectors on the wrong side)
Another had his box strenghtened/shift kitted etc by one of the above before easternats a few years back he was running a stock motor in a gemini, first cruise session nailed it up the back straight box let go all over the track, weekend and months of prep wasted
I had my trimatic built by dominator in thomo, very pleased with it and there after sales service
