Yeah real common... I see FR’s every day
The SV99 rims look really good imo. Half an inch lower in the front would be nice, but that's just me being fussy
I was going to say the Calais badges look stink, but after reading one of your posts it looks like they are going in the bin. So other than that the car is looking awesome. Keen to see some interior shots when you get the trim in

I was going to keep the Calais badges until I saw Jack's little article in Street Commodores this month saying how uncool they were....
I can't go against anything Jack says, so they have to go!

It would have been LAGWAGON from WA which ran an 11.7, but that met an unfortunate end

How about it runs this infamous 9 second pass that they have been talking about for so long before they claim to have the record

I reckon those wheels help make it perfect! They look so good on this I thought about putting my SV99 rims on my calais wagon.

As far as I've been able to see it was LAGWGN which actually ran at least a couple of 11.3's. It was (and hopefully still is ) capable of quicker times but Brian always had massive traction problems and a badly broken engine mount.
The saying goes that one man's loss is another man's gain and I hope this is true because I've ended up with the engine from LAGWGN after what was a very unfortunate end to the vehicle (it doesn't look quite so nice anymore ).
Anyway I'm sure it's just a matter of time till you get this into the 11's Charles, and then who knows from there (bigger turbo, more boost ). Hopefully before the end of the year I'll have my setup fully sorted and be there as well.

Why do you want to see pics of the trim so badly? It can't be that good, can it?
It's not like Steve is a good trimmer. Is he?

Cheers Brett. I forgot to thank Highlander Scotch, who without them, this build would not be possible:
And this pic is for Matt. You wanted a pic of my trim, I took one today. Enjoy:
Look at that stitch work!!!
