30-03-08, 22:25 GMT+10#21 And here she is, all delivered!
I've just unbolted my current N/A engine earlier tonight, and I'll be removing it when I can get ahold of an engine crane.
Meanwhile, I'll be assembling the 25/30 and preparing rest of the car for its arrival.

31-03-08, 08:04 GMT+10#22 Thats a really nice bench you got it on there. Dam you didnt waste any time getting pics up. Show us some pics of the engine bay after you opened fire on it last night ...
Tim if you look hard enough you can see this as being your engine in the future

31-03-08, 09:32 GMT+10#23 If you went to all that trouble, wouldn't you neaten the wiring up at the back of the bay? And hide the ignition module, rather than leave it on the coil pack cover? AND remove the fusebox? Not impressed!
"MR VLT RB30DET"
And hole in the chassis for intercooler piping. Not a fan.
But yeah, something like that.
No pics of the N/A engine bay death, as nothing really changed. Well, I fixed the infamous VL overheating problem of the head being higher than the radiator - unbolt the engine mounts! Bang! Should be getting a crane tonight, so pics then......

01-04-08, 15:28 GMT+10#29 I've got no quarter mile aspirations, and no idea what a fully optioned 25/30 Berlina with 200rwkw would run.
Maybe 13s?

hah i had a feeling that it might be kyles interior!
oh and about gas well dont ask me how it works, all i know is i polished up a few things like the mixer in the engine bay and that i have lycra covering holes in my crossover pipe so if the car backfires it doesn't burn gas all the way up to the mixer and cause to much damage! so backyard spec

08-04-08, 12:05 GMT+10#36 Remember me calling you when you were out floating in the bay? And remember the voicemail from the day before?
Yeah. Those were your opportunities. I'm not retarded dude, I can do 99% of it myself. You can help with the wiring.
I'm going to PM you right now about this weekend.....
Edit: Oh, and update - I replaced the front struts with new shocks, lowered springs (Pedders; red coloured, no idea how low. Does have a part number if anyone is in the know? Can't tell with motor out), and VLT discs and brakes. Also put in a 1" master cylinder.
Lowering the back end this weekend (hopefully) with FE2 springs, and putting on my disc brake setup.
