The last service recored in the car owners manual was "4/1/95" it had 127,158 K's then. No idea now though any idea how to check under the carpet of the car, like un-clipping/screwing the trims on the bottom on the door? Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

hey brett when ya finished polishing the car up put up pics cause its already looking 100% better Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Put a new gasket on the exhaust last weekend, idles better and is quiter. putting the alarm+immobiliser in this weekend hopefully + new headlight globes and relays for both. Polishing up the rims too soon, then ive only got to get a head unit, amp and a sub and shes sweet.

Lmao! Howd you recognize the youtube vid inspired? That was they day Calais came home, my mates came straight over coz they love Vl's too. Thought it would be funny to get Dixie's VL turbo song going coz mines an N/A =[ Should be getting a new resovoir tanks for coolant and windscreen jets this weekend coz the old ones have started to deterioate with age. Will be a slight delay with stereo gear as the new store manager at work can't do the rosters properly and one shift in the past 3 weeks. Alarm+Immobiliser was fitted on friday and works a charm. Though its not the nicest noise to here first thing in the morning lol New headlight globes too, makes a big difference when your driving at night. Nearly all cut + polished and polished, just have to do one more side and polish the calais rims. Soundsystem stuff and hopefully venetians will be done soonish.

Not many of these had the formula headrests, espeacially in red. If you wanna mod the interior dont mess with it too much, maybe just paint the door handles, console lid and T bar surround black to break up the red, neat car man.

Calais is being serviced atm Oil and filters were immaculate Had the transmission guy check out the gearbox and he said it was A1 Getting new brake pads and discs because they're worn out with age Just need heater vacuum resovoir, windscreen washer + engine coolant resovoirs (current ones have started to detiorate) and a small clip for the drivers arm rest up top. Ive got a sub and an amp lined up , just need a new head unit (ipod ready, sub control etc.), some 4" + 6" speakers Just gotta polish the calais rims and go round with the turtle wax again when I get her back and im all set Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

for some reason the red interior is starting to grow on me :| nice clean car.
