In regards to the original accident, i know the guys who assess cars for AAMI who insured the car, the car is a complete write off, durh, but here is the kicker, if the mother does not charge the kid with theft, and he gets convicted, they are likely to refuse to cover the accident, which means, the mother is up for two cars and the rest....... Apparently he was clocked by the coppers doing 180, and they watched the accident unfold, so, unless his mother gets him a criminal record, she is in some serious debt........

It just keeps getting better. Charge the little ****. He will get a slap on the wrist, but he might realise that his actions have consequences. Suspend his license for 5 years minimum.

And didn't it say there was a passenger? To make it worse he/she should make a back injury claim or some shit. LOL!

Yep same thing happened with a mates family. Older brother borrowed the car without permission. Crashed it. Insurance Void unless parents pressed charges. The kid had a prior record so would of gone to jail for a bit if charged. (IMHO would have been good for him...) The parents ended up not pressing charges... Lost the $$ for the car and had to pay the damage he did to the fence. Moral of the story. Dont crash Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

well hopefully he will learn from this> unfortunately it has brought even more attention to car enthusiasts and has given locals even more reason to complain, apparently some locals are looking at trying to get a car park closed that everyone uses due to excessive noise etc at all hours of the night and people leaving a mess> if people are careful and show respect for one of the last carparks that is left open it may go the way of the old bay carpark. which will be sad, so i guess the fate of this is in everyones hands as it will be a complete waste if we loose the kmart carpark as a meet point etc. as cameras seem to be popping up all over the carpark of late to monitor behaviour>
