yea thats what i was thinking, coz the cast iron absorbs heat quick and then the steel balljoint just absorbs the heat even quick than the cast thus the balljoint just ***n heats up n expands n makes it harder lol but yea imma try that, or some freeze spray i tried the g clamp method also, no go, only thing i achieved is a bent brand new $60 g clamp lol and if that dont work, imma just go get a new control arm, which im gona end up doing lol

dude, take the whole control arm out and take it to a workshop, most likely they will do it for free. itll take a few seconds on a press!

hmm yea, im gona try freezing it 1st tho, if that dosnt work then ill see how much a control arm is worth, if its too much then imma try a mechanic what a ****ing **** of a job, oh and does ne1 know were to get them rubber boots that go over the balljoint to stop dirt n **** getting to it? coz i totaly shagged mine lol Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

hmm have you taken the entire strut and control arm out like Hingo suggested? Also you cant get new boots for the ball joints, you gotta replace the complete ball joint. Won't be roadworthy with a broken boot.

Fitting them is the hard part. I did mine myself, but I have access to a workshop. Dude, get a mechanic to do this work to your car. You obviously have no mechanical knowledge and working on your suspension is the last thing you should be doing. I know you obviously don't give a **** about safety (judging by the way you're willing to cut through structural points of the car) but brakes, steering and suspension should be left to professionals because even the littlest **** up can cause a fault that can take out an entire family who might be unlucky enough to be driving near you. Most suspension places would charge next to nothing to pull struts out anyway.

Honestly man, take it for me dont go half asses on your suspension and steering. I learnt the hardway. While you are pulling it all apart do it all properly, not only will it handle better but you will be more safe.
