Just send your car to GRK-WPN, master of defects. Check out his thread on where to place subs, then do the complete opposite!

Thing is, that's what they think to me they all sound the same, I ain't an audiophile and i would be damned to spend too much on it, I just want it too sound good. Haha, thanks, If i was going to get it installed, it would be by a professional though, I wouldn't have any idea what to do. Maybe i should keep an eye out online for stuff. Thanks a lot guys for the opinions, I'll start looking online and stuff, I'm being picky with the car i buy so it's been a while searching, could be searching for another couple of months.... 'Straight Black VR PERFECT PAINT" Heh, around here everything is freaking white..... Anyway thanks a lot, it's ****ing late and I'm half pissed from the cricket tonight, what a ripper that game was hey!?

Now i just have to find them, Thinking of either Autobarn or Strathfield, And I'd get them too install it too, Not going to even bother screwing with it myself, There already is holes in the front and rear but not too sure what i have to plug in or anything, So I'd probably leave it to the professionals, Hopefully to do the head unit and the front speakers / rear with holes already there, it shouldn't be much at all, $100 - $200.... What i don't understand though is the front doors have them weird speaker things: http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/7...318fulljb2.jpg (http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/7022/48963318fulljb2.jpg) "Not My Car" So you won't even see them right? They'd just be behind there, So i guess front speakers don't need to look good at all, Just need to be powerful, rear ones on the parcel need to look good though, they visible!

they are vs door pods head unit most improtant because the amps amplify the signal they get, if your getting a **** signal from the hu, it will all sound ****....

ahh ok thanks mate, Hey anybody able to tell me where they put their amp?? or a image of it? I don't wanna just dump it in the boot.... I'll probably end up spending around $200 - $300 on the head unit, i can get pretty good $500 - $600 ones from Strathfield on special for around that price.

mount it upside down on the parcel shelf? build a false floor like in bax's thread? mount it on a board on the right side of the boot

Maybe even better! That sounds like the way to go i reckon! I just hope the guys who will be installing for me, will do that when i request it!

tough chance unless they do custom work man, your usual strathfield or autobarn wont do somthing liek that, you can do it yourself anyway.......theres many threads on here. have a look around and youll find em, technical article section, etc and im pretty sure he meant on the underside of the parcel tray inside the boot, not on the actual parcel tray ontop, you can also screw it to the back of your rear seat....look **** tho

hmmm yeah, well if these guys install and charge a ton for a 2 hour job you'd expect they would put it where ever the hell you want wouldn't ya? I'll tell the guy where i want it, and that if he won't put it where i want you can shove the whole amp up your ass and I'll buy from somebody else.

not exactly man, thats what i did, but my stereo was mild [thank god!], the old owner, i duno if he had fitted it himself or gotten a pro to do it but it was piggybacked onto the old harness, not properly secured, it was just all bodgy! so i suggest you do it yourself and know what your doing! itll save you ALOT of hassling if you get a problem... just my stupid 2c

Damn the last few post's you've done with me around have been really bloody stupid, HOT-747 should have got Tool of the year instead of GRK-WPN, Or if he signed up this year, then i already put my vote in. And I won't do it myself, I'll be getting a professional that knows what to do himself, so i get a 5 year warranty on it all, No bloody way I'm going to go the cheap way when i have no idea about wiring. I'll also be watching them while they install it, I have nothing else better to do. And they "WILL" install the stuff anywhere i want, After they have given me the quote on how much it will cost too install they have to put the gear where i want it, My uncle just did it himself, a 3 hour job turned into a 6 hour job when he wanted his deck put somewhere that wasn't the original place.

Yeah I've checked them out, Not very good sales and / or prices though, installation has been the cheapest I've seen from the few places I've checked out which is surprising.
