I finely got some service at the pet superstore thingy-ma-bob and the chick talked me into ditching the lights and going UV drops, once a week on his nose or on his fav food + put him in a little container and put him outside in non direct sunlight for 30 min 2-3 times a week. BUT the room he will be kept in gets good sunlight so might not even need that.
so i didnt have to get a big ugly light to sit on top. got most of it, all i need is some plants to put in there and the turtle.
