Director kit consist of many panels that this corsa doesn't have like the fender panels, upper doorpanels, pillar caps, roof wing and different boot wing. The Corsa model is one of those customer ordered and spec'd cars. Some options on this car were fitted by HDT when new and some were fitted by HDT later on. If i gave you all the keys then it would take you forever to work out what to do with them all. If you could choose one then which would you take the keys to? Looks like your car has a Group 3 front bar which was used on a few HDT models accross 87 and 88. The Group 3 had similar styling down the side with the LE rear bar with another Group 3 underwing attached to it. You should have come to the Muscle Car Masters at Eastern Creek where we had over 60 Brock's on display although no where near as good a layout due to the cramped space. I don't remeber seeing the F20 in this thread as an option. You won't find me in any of the photos as i had never been to melbourne until the beginning of this century and that was for work. Have been back many times and even lived down there for a while with the Corsa travelling down there on multiple occasions and the F20 only the once for the 05 Nationals. I work in the logistics industry for an international company that builds automated warehouses and have worked on four sites accross Melbourne, three in Sydney and at Holden's Elizabeth plant in Adelaide where it was the parts of the system we didn't build that interested me the most. I was at high school when the VL's were released and bought my first Brock just after turning 21. I'm a member of multiple HDT/HSV based clubs including having roles on the comittee and have spent more time focussing on the rarer models than the more common HDT/HSV cars. My background with the cars is only as an enthusiast and as such i have a library of information and items relating to the HDT/HSV cars and VL's in general. Corsa

The silver VK Grp 3 shot on the South Perth foreshore was some years ago when I owned the car !!! It had a EFI 304 in it back then with Barry Grant fuel system and Motec computer. Here's a few pics of my current '86 Series 1 HDT VL Calais Sport, 4.9L, polariser, sunroof, scheel's, momo's - may not have the techno gadgetry compared to the turbo of the day; but still nothing beats the sound of a carby'd V8 (even if they are slow !!!). Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
