$6300 sounds pretty good.. we got charged $4500 to fit a twin throttle gas system with twin converters.. and in the end it will cost 2500 with the gov rebate..

Cant do that. Its a special tank with a liquid pump in it. Thats the best part of liquid LPG. Rail pressures are constant because of the pump. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

lpg is slowly losing its value... it really does suck. Depending what system you have, for some **** reason gas has hit 70 cents a litre (what a ***n joke) and the older systems use approx 30% more than petrol in consumption from use, depending on lots of factors.. but thats almost a dollar a litre, cheaper than petrol sure but it looks like the days of filling up with $13 are long gone.. /end peeve

Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) is predominantly a mixture of hydrocarbon gases (mainly propane (C3H8) and butane (C4H10)). These gases can occur either individually or in combination. Under pressure, these gases liquefy, hence the term liquefied petroleum gas. LPG can occur naturally with other hydrocarbons such as wet natural gas in oil and gasfields, or it can be extracted at oil refineries during the production of other petroleum products. World prices of LPG in general move in line with crude oil prices, although as with most commodities it does have its own supply and demand parameters, which is a critical determinant of price. Most worldwide producers use a set Saudi Aramco Contract Price (Saudi CP) as a world marker price upon which exports and domestic sales to wholesalers (marketers) are negotiated. The reason for this is that there are few other world quoted prices and Saudi Arabia is the world's largest producer of LPG. World market prices of crude oil and LPG have increased substantially over 1999 and 2000. Higher crude oil prices have resulted from the decision by OPEC and a number other major world producers in March 1999 to reduce production of crude oil (and associated LPG production) after an extended period of low prices. Australian LPG production and trade Australia produced 4,367 megalitres (ML) of naturally occurring LPG and 1,674.4 ML of refinery produced LPG in 1999–2000. In the same year, Australia exported 2,858.9 ML and imported 518.9 ML of LPG. Australian sales of LPG in 1999–2000, amounted to 3,603.6 ML of which 1,902.9 ML was for automotive use. Whilst, it is apparent that Australia is more than self sufficient in LPG supplies, Australia is also a substantial exporter of LPG and also an importer.

yeah thats why you get this rebate of 2g... it was on another thread.. saying how the government would 'lure' you in to converting to gas, give you your rebate, then jack up lpg prices (40% over 2 years?).. anywho.. that system to support 1000hp is insane. gl with the project. i would like to have some fun with lpg also, this was just the inspiration i needed Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

The Govt excise is going up 2.5% per year till 2012 giving a total of 12.5% over the 5 years. The oil companies are the mongrel dogs jacking up the prices to increase profits.

DeVL, are you sure they work for liquid vapour systems? it says for alcohol and CNG, but i get a feeling they might not work for LPi

The lpi system injects the lpg as a liquid just like the cng would be. So yea it will work.

mmmmm i dont know if they are what you are after. Im pretty sure they are the 1600cc bosch ones we sell here, but i doubt they will work at the huge pressures the liquid lpg setup will run. pm the bosch part number and i will tell you if its these or not. (do they have a white top and black body and look like a normal bosch indy injector?)
