With a way of getting rid of the oil in the catch can that builds up over time, venting it back to crankcase... You could work a way to do that with the PCV as a trigger for a release valve at the bottom of the catch can Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

A mate of mines R32 had this issue when he installed his catch can, it wasn't until he realised it was actually connected wrong did the smoke go away, as it was pumping oil back into his head.. on the dyno when they backed off it just poored white smoke... now it doesn't blow a thing apart from pixie dust. But yeah just make sure your catch can is hooked up properly..

Both rocker breathers feeding into a properly built catch can ( oil air seperator ) with a breather on top.

nope thats not going to help.. mate if its doing it at idle its most likely a valve stem seals type of issue.. mine is doing what yours is doing.. upgrading the lines will slightly prevetn too much oil/smoke coming from the top of the catch can breather but its not a cure..

i think its STUPID! your just going to dump oil onto the ground.. and if the motor was rebuilt it doesnt mean the whole motor was rebuilt as in the head especially.. usualls just bottom end is rebuilt.. Just out of curiosity do you have receipts or any proof that the motor was rebuilt?
