Depends on the budget I think. Whatever you do, if you're straying from a factory look, you better be careful because it'll look tacky fairly quickly. I've always liked a simple, clean factory look with re-trimmed recaro or scheel type seats, and a nice Momo 3 spoke wheel...maybe some other small subtle additions. You can't go wrong with that

hi guys, to all who have commented, thank you, and to dixie, i wasnt having a go at u buddy, but i didnt expect you to give me a "muzztek, brospec" answer, just an answer like the second half of your comment....thats all. im chasing a corporate style look, neat, but nothing over done. with a few retro fits along the way. Im looking at influence from the 2007 range rover sport trim, Cream, black, and Brushed Silver Trimmings, and perforated & crinkled letaher inserts..... as for seats i dunno, i refuse to use coulsens, as they have been thrahsed in VLs, and scheels are hard to find. I like the VZ R8 seats, but again, they're hard to find. keep em comin... cheers, Mick

I agree coulsons have been thrashed in VL's and the new VE seats are becoming flavour of the month as well but in saying that they are an acquired taste. I would stick to a single tone like a dark grey, pewter, anthracite or black as they show wear a lot less but enhanced with flashes of chrome or silver can really lift the simple elements of a car. Definately use of perforated leather will assist the elegant look. My vote for seats to retrim would be VS GTS/Senators, VT/VX SS and like you said as well VZ SS/HSV. Main reason being is there is far less of those floating around in VL's than anything else!

A mate just sold a walky trim that was very clean for $4500. That money gets you a fair way into something very custom.
