All legality aside, how are the subs gonna move back and forward to create the sound if the seat is pushing on it?

hmmm i was reading on the RTA site about stuff u can and cant do... if u cut a hole in the chassis, u have to reinforce it with another peice of metal around it, EXAMPLE: if u cut out a hole in the chassis for the gearshifter to come through, u gotta put a sheet of metal around it with the same hole diameter to "thicken" it up, thus reinforcing it..... SOOOOo all i gotta do is get some good ***n sheet metal and get it welded in around the holes n thats that.......cops pull me over, no worries, get out your booklet coppa, these holes are reinforced so get out ur ***n lube n this time im gona rape u and no theyre are not any holes in the seat.....the rings around the subs give it enough room to travel in n out

There is no way a cop would know the holes were there they are totally covered by the seat. I had a mate that done the same thing many moons ago and the only problem he encounted was the subs got holes in them from elbows and **** from people sitting in the back. People are quick to pay out on you "GRK-WPN" but I have seen some *** dodgy **** on this site including intercooler piping holes big enough to put ur head through. Ounce the seats in you will be fine.

you don't need the cones to be through the metal like that mate, it makes literally no difference because the existing holes in the rear seat frame are more than enough for the bass to come through. or if you wanted it really powerful you could have made a ported enclosure and run the ports through the existing holes... I've been making and selling raised parcel shelves like that for over a year now specifically so that you can have the gear you want WITHOUT modifying any of the metal. these cars are old and have a terrible safety rating as it is. all the metal back there is structural and the reason people arc up about it is kos if you get rear ended now, and one of your mates in the back gets injured or killed, you can be charged. (my old boy is a lawyer and i've seen it happen) unfortunately No matter how many screws you put into your sub box that whole shell is now un-roadworthy. i'm not trying to give you a hard time mate, i can see others already have i just dont see the point in going to all that trouble, especially if your going to put the seats back over them anyway?! if you get a yellow you'll either have to have a new rear welded in and engineered or a whole new shell, and in the meantime heving somebody ride in the back with that much metal removed is negligent. once again im not trying to give u a hard time, just letting u know where u stand and why it is illegal. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

This tops the cake, its like those street stories 'how *** funny would it be if we chopt the back seats and put subs in there, it would be *** TUFF man' This kid has now done it, imo you have no chance of getting that Engineerd or RWC'd
