Re Plugs, its possible but hey for all of them to be fouled so none will fire is low on the gambling scale, more likely is still some dizzy or ignition issue. mmmm, curious re the "new" dizzy you got - how confident are you its ok and how likely is it the old is stuffed... ?

The dizzy came out of a perfectly running car. The afm i changed was also out of the same running car. Now the fuel is flowing perfectly, have taken the hose out and turned on reds and it poured out. Ive set up the dizzy in accordance to the emailed sheet and accordance to the timing belt marks. Could it be that im not on the compression stroke ?

without looking closely - I guess it could be possible but, do you have good spark ?

yerp seems fully rich, light sand blast does wonders then a good flush with petrol in an ultrasonic cleaning bath or if oyu dont like petrol use some injector cleaner in the bath instead, marginally safer and more interesting smells when it gets used a lot Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Took out all the plugs, cleaned them with wire a brush and filed them. Re-installed and the car started first go. So i think the problem to begin with was a faulty CAS , and afterwards the fouling of the plugs. Appreciate all the help. Thanks

mmmm, Interesting, I have seen fouled plugs run fine unless they are a colder grade. Can you confirm the numbers on the plugs. The coil for the VL/VLT is actually a high performance item and provided the feed to it is capable of good current the output will be quite meaty, so if you have the plugs gradually fouling up over time it will point to either a weak coil or the power feed to the ignition setup isnt able to support the power it needs without dropping a few volts, due possible to wire corrosion...

The spark plugs arent NGK. The brand starts with an A or a S i think and is written in green. The plugs were pretty fouled by the looks of them. Also you could be right about the weak coil as at times i do find a drop in voltage, thought maybe could be a weak battery.
