I think all up he spent 6800, but 3300 was the price of the box, the car make 310KW on 29psi, an he drives it absolutely everywhere. If you dont really care how your bay looks, theres really no need to spend excess money on crome, braid, paint, custom brackets etc... my list is huge How is your car coming together? any progress or are you still trying to figure out the compition? What gas system do you all use? LPG747 sounds mad, its amazing what hes accomplished on such a tight budget i heard off another mechanic that gas is no good for the head coz every now n then it needs a bit of fuel to lubricate it or something is this true? I also got new valves. I went all out on the head, hope it holds together. lol

I was the same as u contemplating whether to go gas or not for ages but in the end like ppl have sed i took a chance and am happy with it. My car runs a straight gas setup and am hoping for low 11's (manual). The motor is just finished being run in and am about to put it on 25 psi so hopefully should run it soon. U get 2 grand back as well. gas is cheap to run 45c compared to $1.45 for premium unleaded and even with my massive setup if i drive normally it does quite a few k's... if i hammer it though wastes alot quicker. The only thing i dont like is how my car dosent have cold start so have to like rev the car a bit in the morning to get to operating temp and good idle. Im getting like a custom choke thingy made up though to solve this.

i think most ppl run similar gas research setups most will just have twin B2 converters and a single 440cfm t/b some go the extra step and have twin lines installed and either have the tank modded to run twin lines or buy a tank that suits it. im running a single B2 converter with a 480cfm t/b but have a second converter that i asked to put on but the workshop decided on there own it wouldnt be needed....that was nice of them lol, assholes as said above, the parts alone arent too pricey (especially when compared to a petrol system) but the installation and tuning can be bit pricey. still all in all its not too bad considering it can be done for around $3kish

Turbro : what do u mean by hardened seats? this is gonna be the biggest noob question but can someone explain to be me what the b2 convertors do n what the difference is between a 480cfm t/b n a 440cfm

B2 converter just flows the most out of the gas research range i believe? and are well suited to the gra t/b. the only difference between the 440cfm and 480cfm would be that itd provide a lil more gas, theyre the same size and what not, dont think itd affect a boosted application much tho, i just mine got by chance off ebay, pretty sure its just the jet size inside that changes between models?

My rebate was in my account within a week of lodging the paperwork. I guess it depends on how many others in your state have applied for it in the same week.

Hahahaha. Alwayz sussing out the competition. Progress is slow and steady, takes a bit longer when your doing it yourself. Also working 13hr days lately doesnt help... so, When are you slapping your setup into the new roller. Must say it looks tuff as. Especially the bay! Kozy is an awsome Spray painter Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Youll find that his was a ground up rebuild, where he p!ssed off his previous motec/injector setup, and rebuilt motor, trans, plenum.... He was very much active in his build, bar from the aspects of welding and tuning, and has spent endless hours on it and has taken him the best part of 2 years of learning and trial and error to get to where it is. So I can understand the position you are in of trying to do it yourself, and goodluck with it. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

YOUR CAR LOOKED FARKING MINT, i couldnt get over it man.. well done! my company is eCoshot, LPG injection on TD's.. went from 68rwkw to 92rwkw, but the jump was in torque... went from 600Nm to 828Nm... and getting better economy too that was the first fit those guys down there had done, and they were impressed! it's only a little 4L motor, the owner reckons it drives like a sports car. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Brand new everything. My setup has taken me just over a year and im exhausted by it. As long as i run a 10 eventually ill be wrapped. Im not intrested in being the fast, just wanna kick it wit the best of them. Thanks mate. Thats an impressive jump in power. Australian automotive manufactures are very intrested in gas injection. Has that melbourne uni students 5year patent on gas injection come to an end yet? Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Our patent is US held, on a specific delivery method of Gas into Turbo Diesels... well it was US held, we now have the rights worldwide Hallam truck centre took this 07 canter for a drive, and are very impressed.. they are also looking into fitting brand new trucks with it as an aftermarket sales option Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Good stuff. Ull make a mint. While I was at uni for part time work i worked as a diesel mechanic for a bus company. The prices for heavy vehicle parts were ridiculous.
