haha its not bad at all i have an Exedy 5 puck brass button clutch in my vlct and its my daily too. i drive it in traffic no worries. you just can't slip them. it can be hard to take off up a hill in the wet though. wheel spin chaos but then again that could be due to the fact i don't have an LSD or spool, and cheap tyres haha don't forget, if you are going to put the clutch in yourself, you will need to get your flywheel machine so facter in that cost too. i think they might even recomend using new flywheel bolts too??? not sure. don't think my mate did it with mine haha

will a button clutch on an MF5 break it? im in need of a new clutch and my box is so bloody noisy its not funny, however it takes a beating and shifts perfect, just didnt want to go a button and then break it.

not sure? they grab quiet hard between shifts so i guess its possible? i am sure if you were to just dump it, the box could let go! espec if you were boosting and flat shifted.

i got my flywheel machined. Need to source torque specs for flywheel bolts and pressure plate bolts.. I dont think id put a button clutch on an mf5, id stick with an extra heavy duty clutch for that one!!

i wouldn't put a button in an mf5- especially not a noisy one

torque specs are ****en tight, you dont want that **** coming loose. also use some thread lock on the bolts.

i did the flywheel up with a rattle gun and some loctite. Im gonna use a torque wrench on the pressure plate bolts just to be safe. Cant be bothered going through the whole process again..
