The Airport & Bondi have been declared NO GO zones aswell for that period.
Anyone wanna go for a cruise to the City then with no exhaust?

agreed as much as i hate to say australia is long over due for a terrorist attack and what better time to do it but when bush is here, also i read in the news paper around the lekemba and greenacre area they busted dudes with 40kg of explosives n 6kgs of something else
lol i'm sure they would sooner blow up hundreds of thousands of people in sydney during any other week rather than the one when there is such insane security. It kinda defeats the purpose, everyone already feels worried and aprehensive about an attack during the week- it would have far more of an impact if they struck when they weren't expected, because the point of terrorism is that people feel unsafe- always. Not just unsafe when the president of America is in the city.
u seem to know a awful lot about this topic jack, i say your a snitch for hezoballah. I say we CRUCIFY HIM
nah but seriously i wasnt thinking a terrorist attack just more rioting and **** like that ****en pisses me off like we need a repeate of the ****en riots in cronulla or something similar ffs....
anyways so is anyone actually gonna go cruising or we staying home\going racing at the creek?

Not necessarily true Jack.
Any kind of explosion during APEC, even if it didn't kill anybody, would be extremely embarrassing for the Australian Government.... Especially since the eyes of the world are focused on Sydney and our ability to manage the security of such an event will be under close scrutiny. It would also make us feel extremely vulnerable if we cannot stop an attack when security is at its highest... inducing fear and terror into people that it may happen again.
There are many reasons behind acts of terrorism... massacre is not the only one. They usually have political and/or religious motives. The twin towers attack was not ment to kill thousands of people, just to attack a structural icon to point out vulnerability and create insecurity and terror.
Anyway... go to the creek. It doesn't matter if there are less cops around. It only takes one highway patrol to ruin it.
