scanners arnt illegal here. they are only illegal if u tap in to the frequency and can talk back. but if your just listenig to it then they dont give a ****.

ey buddy . yeh i got guns ,scanners ,drugs , anything, come on man u cant ask that **** on forums ,and yes they are illegal , cause all scanners can also be detected by the police , and if u get caught , depending on how good the equipment is , i think minimum is 5 years im prison

What a stupid thread. Seems a smart person would of asked for a 'Scanner', not a 'police scanner'. Dnt you think this forum has enough hassels as it is? You say the P word and everyone looks. Try google! Not C/T Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

not ilegal as long as u dont transmit eg talk bak alot of agencies like cfs have them to monitor more then one talk group at a time there good but most police have gorne digitaly encrypted which is completyly unscanabel from what ive heard so far sure it will be able to be scanned soon but will be big bucks
