I called him up a few nights ago aswell, missing tags, needs respray, it needs a new boonet and boot he said he will supply that already hifiled so all you have to do is spray it, it has rust under carpet, spare wheel is front and rear window i think aswell, cigaret burn on the rear seat, leaks oil, its got a t3/4 cause the t3 blew up, running 14psi on high 9 on low. There is no proof being a original bt1, yes it got the drop tank etc but then again i dont know P.S he told me this all over the phone who knows what it would be when you go and check it out. Also for the people who are so intrested in buying he said he will let it go for 6.5k so forget the 7k firm part of the story.

But then again that isnt walky trim? just walky seats.

[quote=KLR-747]with all that said ill go there and offer 5g cash He said he wouldnt go lower, he said its an original bt1 and it should have sold much more cause of the tags. I personally wouldnt pay 5k but you can always go down there and try.

man it's just down the road from us in watsy, so go check it out... it'd have to be worth at least 6k though if it's an original bt1 i reckon especially with the seats it's got...but what's the worst he could say... so go check it out asap...

KLR-747, its definantly clean in the pictures. I went to see it myself and he told me everything over the phone just as he did for URHONR. He said he will take 5gs but he keeps the cooler and gauges. Like I said KLR-747, the seats are walky but the rest isnt.

can you even tell if it's a genuine Turbo shell? from those pics not sure, but it looks to have the NA brake booster... anyone have better pics of it? (the first BT1).. But this has come up on here before as well...

Yeah SirGeo thats the only thing that was holding me back from buying it. He had no way of proving it was an original turbo/mx7 manual let alone bt1. I was keen at the start though.

Just check for the bits and pieces dude, but i got a bit scared over the phone after i heard all the issues, and im sure if i went to have a look i will spot more. But see how you go. All the t3 had blew up on him, so they replaced with a t3/4 im sure this thing has ben canneed alot in past history, and of the members on here mentioned when he went for a spin the diff was makeing noice. Also it leaks oil. fair bit of rust, no id tags, not original interior which i cant complain with the walky interior, needs a new boot and bonnet, hes supplying its hifilled. Then again your choice but i wouldnt touch it. Let us know how you go with it. If you got msn add me [email removed] and i can give you a few hints there.

seems like a heap of trouble, probably only worth 2 or 3 grand.... sounds like that one at the dandy car yard they wanted 13 or so grand for because it was a bt1... woop dee doo... this is the timeyou need my attitude... its just a bloody yellow sl, thats all im buying, a stock standard non turbo auto sl, thats been painted yellow, and had a turbo motor and mx7 put into it....for all you know, thats what it could be, no tags... just like the time i found a vl calais in a car yard for 3 grand or so something like that, i had a look at it, he was bull****ting me about all the work done to the motor, so i thought i would give him a piece of bull**** back, i told thim the gearbox is stuffed, motor has a slight bottom end rattle, its not a calais, not a hdt bodykit and a few other stuff, and walked away, he comes upto me, and says to give him a grand for it..... kept walking get under to check if the diff is lsd look inside the boot, under the engine bay, under doors and sills to see if it has had a respray check for them holes in the back
