thy have to dim with the dash lights you must be able to see 11 meters from any seating position the colour must not be brighter than the general colour of the car

yeah ive had 3 gauges on my bonnet for ages and still havent been done for them.. and theyre chrome... its probably just a matter of time, but i'll argue that people's rear windscreen's are shinier than chrome and they reflect the sun alot more.. so whats a hazard now?

yeah but 9 times out of 10 they dont wear their safety vest or have their hat on, which means if u record it or take a photo, no matter what they get you for, it gets overturned Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

if mounted outside of car must be a black cup, as chrome can blind other drivers on a sunny day! as this is what a vic roads officer told me and gave the appropreate paper work!

i reckon its bs about the chrome.... think about cars like old LJ toranas and the like, they had chrome front and rear bumpers!
