24-08-07, 08:56 GMT+10#21 i thought only ex chaser were yellow... what on earth would a VL V8 be able to chase? They did a 1/4 mile .2 seconds slower than the n/a 6!

I would like to see it proven in real, once a 5.0 auto is wound out you would be surprized what they could catch.
Come on,this is a VL site with no yellow BT1 pictures, where are they all?

17-12-13, 06:51 GMT+10#28 Throw some pics up, there are a couple of people on here who could possibly verify it for you. Plus I'm sure like myself, others would love to see it.

17-12-13, 08:23 GMT+10#29 I'd imagine it probably came from SA, Vic or possibly WA
unmarked cars came in lots of colours so no reason why it wouldn't be genuine
tags will verify anyway

18-12-13, 17:49 GMT+10#32 LV2 is 304,
Early VK's were the last to get a 308.
Nitpicking I know, but it's a pet hate when people call the VL V8 a 308.

03-02-14, 19:53 GMT+10#34 This was mine originally purchased back in 89 and sold a few years ago.
S.A ex chaser fitted with C.O.M.E racing 355 injected VP senator engine and interior. It would have been one of the first VL's to have a injected motor and SV interior back in 1991. I had Calais front end to go on but did not get round to putting it on. This was my daily for over 15 years.
There was a white / blue ones around at that time but never seen a yellow one.

This looks very nice. Shame I'm not looking or even just cashed up, I'd make the trip to check it out.
A guy I worked with in the RAAF had one back in the late 90's, had some work done to it and went like a shower of sh*t. Sounded bloody nice too.

high level stoplight
boot badges seem way too high up and LH one is wrong size for a 12/87 build
RE88's from new, don't think so
a very clean car though, I have a soft spot for the blue VL's too
