i had the same problem with my vl blowing smoke on start up aswell... blue smoke? whats she like with oil? when the steam seals on the head start to go they will leak oil into the exhuast which will caus alot of smoke when cold and excess oil use.. also with the car feeling like its gonna stall on take off... air flow meter sounds like the case there..

Thanks Shiznt, I found the O2 sensor stripped where it connects to the extractors, wondering if that was the cause making it run to rich? The AFM looks ok, just from looks. Anyway.. My Marquee blew away Sunday! lol, that storm we had just lifted it and blew it nearly onto my neighbors, very lucky it didn't hit their Vk Calais! $500 in the wind. Gonna build a shed this time, so I am put back a few days... I'll put pics up soon of the devastation.. lol + small progress made...

ha! Yeah I guess it would be lol. Yeah sprayed myself. Still working on interior (black), will rub back the color in a couple of days then hit with clear, then I will leave it sit for about 2-4 weeks before rubbing back clear and doing a cut and polish.
