All the bits arrived for the front just before Easter so I put the days off to good use:
To all you experts out there, how do I get the eyelid bits to line up right? Also, has anyone else fitted up one of these grilles? There's a fairly significant gap between the front bar and the grille and I don't really know what to do about it? Help would be great.

can the bar come up anymore , looks like uve scratched the paint on the guard, so if the bar can come up u might hide that and reduce ur gap between the grille and bar.
The marks on the guard are damage from my last front bar.
The new front bar has 2 bolts on each side of the number plate which go into the reo bar. I'm not sure how I'd be able to get it to sit up more?
Its back!
Its so nice to be driving around stonechip-less, all the one colour, with no dents
What do ya's think?

I have no idea, to be honest. Maybe you guys can help?
I'm aiming for 250 - 300rwkw with the new engine, but building it so if I ever want to put a bigger turbo on and retire it from daily driving duties, I can without going back and redoing things I've already done. So I need brakes that are good for 300+rwkw.
I don't care if I cant fit 15's over them, and I'm looking at a set of VE SS-V rims which will probably give better clearance than my current wheels.
I'm happy to spend a bit on good brakes, I'm not really on a budget.
No budget? Ohh, bad move....
The VT twin piston fronts with the VS plastic booster and VT master cylinder is an excellent upgrade. RaceBrakes in Sydney has the complete kits, and they have an advertiser on here. Then you can get braided brake house, rebuild your rear calipers and put some decent pads and slotted discs in, and you should be sweet.
Alternatively, you can go for Mazda RX-7 four pot front calipers - apparently they're a direct bolt on, and use the VLT discs.
Its good to see you'll be getting some big, wide wheels, so you can run decent rubber - good brakes are only as good as the tyres.

Not quite. I got this setup for mine (but sold it before fitting it up )
You'll need to PM VHR32 for an adapter kit
Heres one fitted...
Car's looking great BTW!

Oh ok, there ya go. Wasn't 100% on that, thanks VLT-025.
Definately, vhr32 is the man to ask about brakes.
