I had the same problem in my old VL SL however the water was getting in through the top of the rear windscreen and had caused the inside of the roof to rust. Was told it wasn't worth fixing so I just put the rear window back in and traded it in at a car yard. Got 4k for a n/a 5spd vl as a trade. Screwed that dealer good as the whole boot as well as the inside of the roof was full of rust!

Bump, just wanted to know if there is a seal around the rear garnish as well?? Or is the sealant only around the tail lights?? Cheers

Ahh, ok. It's just that i was trying to see where the water was coming from so i got the hose and lightly sprayed it around the lights and garnish but noticed that whenever i sprayed it around the garnish, water was coming through the connections right underneath the boot striker. Hmm, very interesting.
