um dont know a,na seamd tight enough a,fink it was a mixture on 2 high compression ong 2 much pre ignitionand just plain old getting 2 hot,so their is half a spark plug missing in my engine.and racing a vr ss v8 manual,winding the old vl out 2 about 5 grand in 5th at god knows wot speed (coz their no spedo)dosnt help,poor old vl,running on 5,motor sounds gud apart from running on 5,wound a new spark plun in,still running on 5,mabye the spark plug has stuck the valve open or sumthn,dore diagnosis this weknd,will keep you boys poasted,p.s got another rb30 sitting there so will throw dat in just so i dont miss the brock cruze lol,depending on if the calais motors buggered of not!!my pooooooooooooor calair,but the calais will neva die,neva!!!!

Possibly looking at a vl calais 5l. Turbo might be going soon! As much as i love turbos. Ive wanted a vlc 5l ever since i layed my eyes on vls . hopefully all goes well. PS. My mate has just bought a nice clean vl (full group a kit) Pretty worked 5l. 5spd. It's red. Bloody loud and goes hard, he'll be coming too ^^. Please don't buy a 5l. i test drove sum when i bought my calais. a n/a rb30 would keep up and the 5l drinks farkin ****loads and sound **** too. but it's your money. il let you buy it if you bring it on the brock cruise lol. Yea you might find the timing map in a standard vl turbo ecu, would **** a High comp motor due to the difference in compression. Weird half a plug coming of thou...
