i should be able to pull a nice number on the forged engine i just had built apprently the compression ratio as high...i watched the engine builder look at the piston move up and down in the block and he looked at it side on and he goes" **** me dead" i thought something was broken...he replyed this compression ratio is insane this things goin to fly. i just went :

What comp ratio? 11.5:1 ? haha.

With the dyno results, its pretty high you might wanna dyno it somewhere else as some of the members said some dynos read high which is true. But those results are pretty impresive. And good luck with it.
dunno yet, but the heads been shaved, blocks had the same and there a little bit higher comp piston than the turbo pistons
be blowing ****in headgaskets all the time witch is the bit that really annoys me.
i dont see why ppl are so surprised at the power. standard is 150kw at the fly, so hy is it so difficult to get 17kw more, at the wheels, with cooler, more dense air. exhaust, better flow, manual. hardly any drive loss. i dont see the WOW factor, i mean yes it is a great power figure for boost and what not, but seems typical to me, so long as its a healthy motor.
LOL you still lose 25% through a manual, the loss through an auto is about 30%. it still has to go from your motor, to your box, to you diff, and through your axles.
its a very debatable topic, and is always argued on this and other forums.. if you work on 20-25 percent, you're gonna be the closest to the mark. 10%? no chance.
i dont think a stock VLT would make 135rwkw on the dyno.
but we're gettin away from the point here.
EVEN if it did make 135rwkw, i cant see this cant picking up 30+rwkw with the same boost pressure pushed into the motor.
Yeh i understand... and i do agree with you to an extent.
BUT 10%? maybe i was a little high when i said 30% lol
anyway, my opinion is shared with alot of people but here is the answer...
http://www.superstang.com/horsepower.htm
i havent had a chance to read it, but im going to now
OK, after reading and sifting through ive come up with this.
Manual: 15%-17%
Auto: 20%-25%
sorry if my estimates were a bit high, i made a mistake there.

Converters do silly things to dyno figures hence why all the big 'DYNo QUEENS' are manuals...
Probably mentioned this before but my car on a tired motor, stock cam, manual, made 243rwkw.
Had motor rebuilt, same setup, only difference was fresh motor and a smallish cam, AUTO, made 205rwkw......went hard and backed it up with 115mph.

im no guru with bottom ends and might sound like a ****head,
but doesnt o-ringing your block help stop blowing headgaskets? or was i told wrong?
