I bought one the other day too. Just gonna put the black garnish on my car and use the rest to restore an old garnish Quote: Originally Posted by Moggy06 thank god the sticker is seperate haha, i only ordered mine for the sticker and im just gunna restore my garnish up then will re-do the old one and sell it for a small price Huh? The actual garnish bit is the best part of the kit? If I you, I would use your old sticker after you've restored it then transfer it on to the new garnish along with your restored badge and redo the lines. It would look like a perfect GENUINE new one Quote: Originally Posted by Moggy06 how is the quality etc? is the badge the dodge rare spares flat one or the same as the GM ones? Cheers As stated a couple of posts above, It's the usual rare spares one. Die cast and flat

my sticker is stuffed, its cracked and faded real bad, beyond restoration ill see wat happens when i get it but i was planning on restoring the garnish to a nice gloss black again (along with my boot mould), restoring the badge to its original condition, and then just chucking the sticker on i will make up my mind when i get it though thanks for the info anyway, sounds like there pretty good

Just for anyone who cares, I've been playing around with the sticker bit that comes with this kit...I stuck it to a spare black garnish and started trying to polish it. This is very much like the stickers on what I think may be the earlier calais garnishes (the ones that tend to fade to a more yellow than green with age and are less common) as the locating holes are further in and it is harder to polish up (they come with a very flat finish ) which is how I've found previous ones of this type I've restored. They are also more brittle than the other type of stickers, which doesn't matter...yet. Give it 20 years of sun. Having said that, I'm fairly convinced these might actually be an exact copy of the originals...although unfortunately not the of the better version. I'll include some pics soon to illustrate the difference I'm talking about, as I have both kinds of badge and garnish here Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
