and some say 1JZ motors can also be compared to the likes of earlier RB26s
it sh*ts all over 25's... lol and they can handle quite a lot of abuse with their strong internals...

AWD is slower the faster you build a car, because weight comes into the picture and having 2 drive shafts is some weight you cant cut down on..
View the R33 GTR videos on youtube, most of them run a torque splitter allowing the rear wheels to counter most of the power and the front to just tag along for the ride..
RB26 vs 2JZ is a long debate but 2JZ in my opinions ****s all over it if you want big reliable turbo power.
my internally stock, head stock, stock intake manifold, stock TB 1jzgte engine with 190000k;s on it, it took 37 psi and a 50 shot of gas for 4 years and done around 180 passes at the track and probably about the same on the dyno.
it made plenty of horsepower and ran 10.17 ets at 137 mph on radials in a 3500 pound car
show me a rb 25 or 26 that has done that with that amount of kilometres and hard use and i will stop drinking beer for a month.
they are strong engines from factory. i should find out how togh it is soonish when both my cars debut on the track. will be copping a heap of abuse especialy the bmw
