Ive got a hyper 10 with a blue AU XR8 supercar body and fluro yellow wheels with PVC on the tyres.
My mates both have have hyper 10s too.
The $600 drift cars look the goods. Good value i reckon for the extra 200 bucks.

I dont think you can get vl shells unless you had it costom made.

The hyper 10s are great cars for their price and strong as hell, ive crashed head on at top speed and not a dint.
I herd the yokomos are rather fragile, i spose there lighter to get better speed and balances well.

I have a tamiya electric car, used to get some pvc pipe that fit snuggly to the tyre and glue it on (worn out tyres of course). Would just slide uncontrollably for the first charge, but once the pvc scratched up it would grip just enough to drift pretty well. Beats buying all those other tyres, and the PVC lasts ages. Although this was ages ago, when those Yokomo drift cars had just been released, the tyres might be a bit cheaper now.
Melted my speed controller and haven't used the car since, might have to get a new speed controller for it

my mate just got a drift car from hobby habbit paid 600 but that a R34 shell and drift wheels and tyres and stuff. its so bloody fun i wanna buy one.
i cant remember the name of it i think its like mx4 or mt4 something like that..
