gave the bay a good scrub tonight came up alrite! even cleaned under the bonnet haha cheers for the comments guys been tuff times latly with the car lol its using a strattaII turbo kit which is wat the CDT packs came out with picked up the VX SS rims off bob today and planned to get a quick roadworthy check at my mechanics, went to start the car and discovered the wire to the started motor had been resting on the manifold so had melted thru lol good place for it to happen i spose! so the vh will have another little holiday looks pretty good ont he VX SS rims tho! lol im looking at running upto 20psi on the odd occasion seeing as its already pinging im definatly fitting a cooler. ive decided against the plan on the previous page after a chat with a mate and will just fit the top half of the VK efi manifold ontop of my stratta manifold. bit ugly looking but itl be cheap and easy.

yeah i had planned to copy that also but my plans change daily atm lol im going to fit some extreactors and remove the turbo gear and cut off the inlet thats there atm and have a 180 degree bend welded on so i can fit the gra that way. as its n/a all i need is a rwc (which i can get easily after doing a few things) and then can be regd no worries. then ill refit the turbo gear and cooler all at once and get it tuned. hopfulyl thats how it happens lol. see how it goes!

organised some springs and manifold n **** so just gota organise to have the inlet manifold welded afteri hack it up lol also got some EF thermos for $$$n cheap ($50) so hacked them up a bit but found that ill have to get the top inlet on the radiator moved to the side to fit them properly. so thats on the list also annnd recieved my intercooler today aint it cute! haha ill trial fit it up tonight after work. well heres some pics from the trial fit. will just have to trim the lower lip part of the apron as its a bit close for comfort have 3cm to spare at the widest part (above the inlet/outlets) to the chassis rails, so pretty good fit! good be much much higher tho, probly another 15cm lol. might look at geting a custom one done up in the future, but pretty happy with it all! will get some better pics in the daylight please excuse the state of the car! tis bit sad looking atm lol Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

havnt been doing much to the VH lately, just gathering parts and getting a plan together! finally painted up some ceptors for the beast! tomorrow will fit the stock springs and do a few oter bits n pieces, also fitting a VN radiator and the EF thermos. so another few things outa the way then next paycheck just need n/a exhaust, 4 barrel inlet and one of these babies : then it SHOULD be ready for RWC and rego! see how it goes though lol and a few daytime shots of the cooler! i could slide it maybe 1cm higher, but just cbf for the photo lol Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

started doing my engine bay last weekend. what started as just wanting to tidy up a few things and detail it all quickly got out of hand lol finally got a 4 barrel inlet manifold and some extractors and painted them both to clean things up a bit, then started by removing my battery tray, which was a **** of a job, and just wanted to bog up a few holes and attack it with some autobarn spray paint, but yeh decided to go a bit further. going to smooth it all out and paint it in primer/filler and sand it back then either take it to a panel shop to be painted or will have a crack myself in my mates shed. anyway heres some pics! thought id update this thread a bit! have hidden all my wiring and smoothed out some of my bay but have been ordered to give the garage back so have put the car in this tempory state until i take it to my mates garage where we will pull the motor and finish it off properly. also picked up some internationals today which will have tyres fitted on the weekend should look quite nice! thought id update this a bit! id been toying with ideas for paint as im doing a quick respray myself soon. id thought i may as well try the 2 tone effect and heres some chops id played with i cant help myself discovered a few few bargains got 2x 2 5/8 autometer procomp gauges, one oil pressure and a boost guage for $100, 2x chrome guage cups with brackets for $50,annd a set of chrome wheel nuts for $16 and also planned to wire up relays and fuses for the thermo, i figured id better do somthing on the list to get the car back up and running lol so should be an exciting few days w00 also spotted this PPG custom violet metallic paint for sale! so toying with the idea of painting either the whole car this color or doing the 2 tone using this color heres a rough pic of how the paint looks finished off the wiring for the thermo setups. i have a switch in the cabin that is hooked up to accessories that then powers 2 30a relays with 30a fuse which powers each thermo fan separately. im using the main +12v power from the junction on my starter motor which then runs 8guage wire under the K frame over to the relays and splits up into 12 gauge (i think) wire at the relays and to the fans. lets see if t all works lol. finished off the wiring for the thermos and gave them a test run (i didn't actually wire them up to the switch the otherday) and all is well! they work perfectly. once ignition turns off so do the fans, but once the ignition is on i can turn them on or off. also figured out that i can actually put the fitting for my mechanical gauge in the extra hole at the oil pump, so that solves that problem easily! and decided to do a trial fit of bonnet and dash gauges. yes i realize theres 2 boost gauges lol but im still yet to purchase a 2 5/8" water gauge and cups with brackets. the dash will have the center warning lights showing but will have a panel covered in vinyl either side so the gauges fit in flush with no plastic showing through. and the metal surround on the gauges will also be replaced. anyway i thought it came up alright! sorry for the ****ty pics, mum went away with the camera got some better quality pics, basicly the same ****, but i hate phone pics! lol can also see the switch for the thermos, pretty blue!
