So if i Owned an original condition calais turbo or perhaps a brand new VE SS , i cant join.
Cause its factory.
Unmodified.
Yet i can buy a Holden camira.
Put a pod filter , pioneer sterio and some bob jane mags and im welcome to cruise?
Im a financial member of cocc , ct and smasa.
All 3 have sponsorship.
Im involved with prc and hh.
So im always welcoem with them.
And if i spoke to a few ppl , im shure i could find a cruise to go on EVERY saturday of the year.
With cruises and discounts at sponsor's already open to me.
Why should i part with my $10 to join your club.
What benifits are there to me that makes your club different to the ones i have listed.
And different to the many clubs out there i have not listed as i am not involved with?

If you throw in 1 Free Guard lift per $10 membership then more people will be tempted to join.

Also , Why did you create a club?
If you and your mates want to head out for a cruise every so often , fair enough.
But why create a club?
Are you aware of how many different car clubs there are in adelaide.
Why didnt you consider joining them?
You want to be involved , clubs have agm's and you can be voted on the commitie. Hell do right by a club and put in the hard yards and you can be voted in as president.
And all these clubs cater to different car enthusits wants and needs.

Sorry Spirit, Im not sure I agree there. Many young people I know feel that a couple of the clubs you belong to are too 'old' for them. I know thats not the case for some, but for others it is.
Those clubs are seen as mum & dad/familyish & the young ones dont like that idea.
They also think that a number of clubs have too many rules they dont like, which is funny bacause after a short while they adopt most of them, for their own club.
Or maybe they are just scared of meeting that many new people? Or maybe it is the power trip of having 'your own' club?
But I know of a couple of clubs that have a 'younger' membership base..... Can point him in the right direction..........
