Guys you get the full amount of rebait from the federal gov if the cost is less than 2k. I know over here in WA you get 1k from the state plus the 2k from the fed gov regardless of cost of installation. the state one is eazier to apply for and quicker to be put into your account. As an installer over here I would highly recomend a vapour injection system as it has no modifications (meaning restrictions) to the intake system, a good one is sooo smooth you cannot tell when it changes from petrol to gas or back to petrol as it changes one cylender at a time. also on most cars I cannot pick which fuel the car is running on without looking at the switch. performance is the same on most cars, some cars it even feels stronger on lpg than petrol.
cheers bob

hey mate
do you anymore info on the vapour injection systems?
my cars going in for a gas conversion in 2 weeks and will be using gas research gear, but ive always been ***n keen on the injection systems and would rather fit it but cant find any info...
do you have any rough prices on just equipment for somthing that would suit a 202 VK efi manifold to support upto 250-300rwkw in a turbo system?
ill have a chat to the guy doing my gas conversion and see what he knows bout em, i thought it was still just an idea and wasnt in production?

the gas injection system isnt high performance. The cars i have seen have a max of 240 RWHP or180RWKW because the injectors are small. To get more power you would need six more injectors.

This injection is best for dual fuel because it switches to petrol when the big power is needed. So big horse power fuel system for big power and gas injection for cruising. Massive costs that why i'm going with the GRA Straight Gas Throttle Body setup. Atleast you know it will flow enough gas to make big power and the 2K rebate is a good insentive.
