Great idea... Im planning on coming oven (not in my walky) and a few other WA walky members are also.... that would be a sight to see!!! NSW & VIC walkys united at bathurst, the reason they were created in the first place! hehe Cheers VNVNLE.. ...you can catch me on a tuesday and thursday at the local ginza. hey OMA ur very fortunate to have 2 fantastic cars! im really quite taken as to how enjoyable my car is to drive. I have driven quite a few nice cars and nothing really compares to the feel of a walky. How does your walky compare to the GTS-R to drive?? I have always liked them, but they are seem to just keep growing on me.. how would you describe the GTS-R?

Yeah the GTS-R is a nice car to drive in standard trim,i thinking of lowering it sometime this year so it handles to match its race-car looks.Best way of describing the Melbourne taxi compaired to the Batmobile is like compairing Pamela Anderson(Walky) to Carmen Electra(GTSR).Pam is alot more popular but Carmen is more refined(and alot less km's lol). The GTS-R's front seats are more comfortable,6 speed gearbox smoother but no twin throttle body noise under the bonnet. The body kit except for the T-wing is standard HSV not unlike the Walky-a one off 20+kit.But you forgot to include my new daily driver-the mighty GTR XU1 replica.I had an original Bathurst 72 model back in 1992 and i've always had a soft spot for them-Brocks first Bathurst win was in a 1972 XU1 where he beat the mighty GT HO's.

The 6 speed is good for pulling 2nd gearys lol, tried in the Walky but its too notchy. At the moment i prefer to drive the torrie but only because it's new and i bought it to keep the k's down on the HSV's.As for which car i like, depends on who's going cruising-if Walky484 and ITS5.7 take their Walkys,i'll dust off the cobwebs and take mine.I like both HSV's for different reasons-GTSR is more comfortable on long cruises but the Walky gets all the attention. And i'm only a blue collar worker who saves money and over the years bought cars that didn't lose money as i tend to look after them.Sorry if we've hijacked your thread VNVNLE.
