ffs lol what im trying to say is this event wouldnt ever happen again if one of the amauter drifters lost it into the crowd... (did and of you guys see the gold r31?? scary!) Maybe my standards were a bit high after going to summernats? (cricket is a 5day test btw, and you all know i will probably go anyway, have you bailed yet matt? ) Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Yeah, I must agree, none of the barriers around the s-bend had any water in them, and -plenty- of people were commenting on them, young kids were getting sprayed with stones because the track wasn't wide enough for the drifting events, and yes there were some ****ing close calls that would have ended badly with the gold R31 coming onto the dirt (again, because the track wasn't wide enough) and spectators were right on the edge. Granted, it was very cool, but I wouldn't say its a "family" area. The burnout pad, etc was fine though. I'm not sure why its a drama, but some kind of seating near the burnout pad would be very good, you can't really bring your own because the barrier is too high to see over while sitting down, insurance rules sound like a bitch though!
