Engine bay now has heater hoses connected. Looks cluttered but I suppose itll keep me warm in winter now. As you can see from the lower picture, there's enough ground clearance there to run over a lolly pop lady. OK, Raced it at calder last night and did a string of wheel spinning 14.5's! Managed a best of 14.1 I was using my old 14 inch GTS wheels with 205 tyres, 60 footers were non existent. Couldnt stall it up, couldnt nail it off the line... just wheel spin. So, it was good fun, not quite where I wanted it to be, but with some better rubber itll easily dip into the 13's, which is a start.

Very good, good to see the roady is cleared, Ive got a set of spare slicks here you can borrow next time you want to run it, or some decent street tyres you could borrow if you wanted.

Motor is now sold. Pulling this one out shortly and then the build of another one begins. Similar set up but with some extra goodies... aiming for 11's.

Cheers. There was an old railway line behind all of this that had these huge docks that were covered in graffiti... but I couldnt get in As soon as I parked it there my brothers mrs goes 'oh... it looks so hot' haha. It looked good with that background. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

imagine if the old pumps where still there

They were. But not real old school ones.. probably 15 -20 years old... not much different from current pumps. Otherwise I would have focussed around those. (http://imageshack.us) Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

TWO89: love it! looking good bud, mate of mine had a nice one for years he had done up, sold it last year (for quiet a good price) and no1 i know has seen it since, i know its still in melbourne.. heres a pic for interest sake, u might see it around! Another good mate of mine's father in law has an orig 4dr HQ GTS, in yellow, manual 253 i think it is, been sitting in the garage for a very long time not registered, my mate tried but he wont sell it, wants to give it to his son when he grows up, was worth a shot haha! there was a debate about that car on here not long ago, someone said original GTS, but it's got a vinyl roof?

i didnt say thats a gts, i would not know the difference myself, i think he may have just put the gts badges and guards on it, but then again who knows, i can ask him and find out but doesnt really interest me that much lol i just like the car ive got a ****load of pics of it here, what else can i look for to see if it is or not? i know it sold for a tad under 20g's so if a gts is worth more than that its not a gts! lol Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
