It's advertised for a VL as you can see, but I just wonder if it really does suit an RB30.
Was just wondering if anyone has installed the BLaster ss coil, i got one cheap and was wondering how they go. also do you have to fit a ballast resistor aswell
help would be greatly app.
mmm, old thread and the vid link doesnt work
VL/VLT Coils are already a high performance item and can generate as much
as 60Kv open circuit striking voltage depending on the drive method and thats
something I am taking a look at...
Having said that, there are heaps of old coils around that are starting to
fail and having a way to find out how good they are would be useful
So, imho, if you have a new VL coil you are fine for most boost that people
want to run - even up to the VLT injector/AFM limits of around 12 to 14psi
Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
I have fitted the IC and E coil leads booster and moduale to my VL now, ive got a new engine aswell, but its soooo easy to start, you can almost look at the key and it fires. Extreemly responsive to a tap on the throttle, and piss easy to install!
