they are autotechnica brand. i bought one and had the same prob. put a straight edge on it and it was bowed in about 6mm at each end. cutting between the flanges fixed it for me as well.

You pay for what you get end of story! Throw it away and get one of Duz360 hehe

they are not junk, but yes you get what you pay for. easily fixable porblem and for any one not wanting huge power i think they are ideal. maybe duz360 should make a simple stock replacement for around the same cash and there wouldnt be a problem

i have some early genie exhaust headers here for rb30 and its a single flange plate, and i also have some later ones here also by genie, and they have seperated the flange between ports... only mild steel, not staino, dunno what relevance that has, take from that what you want, lol

these manifolds are shi.te... maybe on a std VL turbo it would last but i had mine for about 8 months 3 months with a std T3 turbo and the rest with a T3/T4 performance turbo and it has cracked so badly basically every join of the pipes around the flange has cracked and is gaping almost 2mm when cold. cheap, chinese, mass produced crap... i'm now getting a custom mild steel steampipe manifold from 'extreme manifolds' and they are i quote 'guaranteed not to crack for life' but i gotta get it made to suit a std VL turbo set up of position of turbo and such as this it what these manifold fit, direct bolt on from a std vl turbo.... great but... you get what you pay for, it did make my car go a little better and i mean dont get me wrong i loved it when i first put it on but it didnt last long... good luck to all out there running these manifolds that arent' cracked yet btw i never had the problem of a warped face, it all sealed sweet until the cracks...

lol E-Z im not suprised that your taking the side of the home style manifold, ive heard of many great things with your Mock up Rajab plenums that you design. Alot of R & D must of gone into the ones you make just to be able to lean out a few cylinders lol

But thats also the reason why there so cheap.. not because they are really that bad.. Things are cheap in bulk, and cheaper from china, Its the way of the worlds now days. And pedros, E-Zs manifold you are trying to pay out was not made in china by little china-men, was not designed by him or made by him, It was made and designed by Duz360 himself. If i was making big power on a big motor i would probably not use one of them manifolds but as i have under 200RWKW, As this is my first adventure into the turbo world, As i am young and as i do not get that much money being an apprentice i could not pass up one of them manifolds (the highmount ones) I have had it glowing a fue times now after a gooooood hiding and after well over a year of having it have not had one problem with it. Anyone trying to save some money and so on, i would recommended the highmount 3mm manifolds. My next motor ill be going to duz.

quality with ANYTHING from China is much, much worse. They cut corners, and skimp on every process they can.. believe me, i import a fair bit of stuff from there every month.
