And trust me i have been driving like a grandma now as i am starting to worry! It is running fine and the auto is sweet but for some reason its just really bad on fuel! i have had it serviced and it didnt change, i also have noticed that the engine light has been coming on when i sit on the freeway and it gets really hot when im in heavy traffic like the gauge is at 3/4 which is really bad. Any comments are welcome and help would be much appreciated. Thanx for reading all of this wont break axels, just bust cv's, $50 a set but you wont break them in a hurry if you know how to drive sounds like she needs a serious tune up mate Steve Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

yeah get it tuned, quickly and flush the radiator see how that helps with the temps, if not it could be anything

Hey, i've got a vs series two as well. and i get the over heating as well... i dont know what it was, jsut all of a sudden it kinda started creeping up.. and didn't stop.. so i went to a radiator place and asked about stuff and they ended up fixing my air con with no warning ( 400 )... but i got a new thermostat, new hoses, new radiator and water pump was changed less than 2000 km's ago.. and i still get over heating, but the difference now is that my thermo, turns on when it should now and lowers it!... but other than that it runs at a warm tempurature anyway. i've been thinking of investing in a 81 degree ( i think it is ) thermostat to get fans comming on earlier, but other than that. i think its jsut a common thing! yea i think its a common thing with all vr/vs's i got a 95 vr and its actually in the shop atm getting the radiator looked at n stuff...i think they said it was a intake manifold gasket coz all it does is piss out farking coolent.....i was topping it up almost 3 times a week...... and my temp guage does the same...but it probably becuase i didnt have water in it...but i never knew half the time LOL btw nice calais bro keep it n chuck sum phat rims on it Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Yeh. also check inlet plenum, those plastic plug things go brittle with the heat and sometime break. but im not to sure, coz i had a mate do a few, but only on Vp's and his own (vp) so might be different on an ecotec

Hey guys thanx for all the comment, just got it dyno tuned and got new o2 sensors put in it. I also changed the plugs and i am trying to figure out how to change the leads as i can get them under the friggin alternator. I cant decide weather or not to sell it becoz some ppl say keep it and some say sell it and buy a vt calais sc6. But for now im keeping it and buying some phat 20's for it and then a crs blower kit... LoL i have big plans and no money! I made a photochop of it and this is what i want it to look like... i reckon it looks tuff. Before: After: Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
