ok, So I went out and brought an autometer oil presure guage. Because I was gettin concerned at how low the factory guage was reading. installed it sweet started the car at cold it sat 90-100 psi oil presure, Sweet thats heaps. now over 30mins of driving (not thrashing) the oil presure drops so much that at idle I was gettin about 5-10psi presure & open road driving I was getting 20psi. I've changed the oil, and still same low presure when engine get warm... Now my qestion, why am I loosing so much presure when the oil gets hot. I'm currently running 40/15 oil, and the system has no leaks ??? Some idears would be appriciated guys. cheers

what i like you wont want to pay for, but any good synthetic in a grade like 10/50 15/50 mobil 1 in 15/50 would be my pic without getting too expensive, it is getting up there in price tho. what brand / type are you using now?

I had the same problem with my old VLCT, it had started to run a bigend bearing, hope not in your case though!

mmm pimping red interior! I Love it! PS be careful tuning with that autogauge guage, those lean/stoich/rich autmeter and autogauges are notoriously inaccurate...

use only the genuine late model bosch unit, they are around $60 and use an injector type plug.

Ok, So I converted it to manual, fixed a water leak, and replaced the exsauste gasket (it was leaking). And tidyd up some wiring, Now it won't hit full boost I can get about 5psi if I really fang it and that seems to be it. have checked everything for leaks ect and everything seems sweet. would going from auto to manual have anything to do with this ? any help or idears would be appriciated guys... And it sits 14.5 vac at idle 1000rpm.

I thought pretty much everyone was against the idea of thicker rear swaybars? I know Alex was telling me they make the car a bit twitchy or something yesterday. That front one looks nice though, what size is that? Any new engine bay pics?
