depends whos driving man... thats wat it all comes down to..
and im pretty sure the thread was aimed at finding out whos built a drift vl for the track.. not tallying up how many *** sticks have wrapped their vls around polls on the street.
something similar to 50MAN.. but a vl..
there is no reason why one couldnt be made to handle as good as possible.. and show up anyone out at a drift meet.. put a lil jappo yokoyotshimu dude behind the wheel of a vl decked out with some good gear and im sure he'd put on a good enough show to change ur opinion.
just seems no one has bothered yet.. probably becuase no one is that deadset inlove with the shell enough to bother spending more on the suspension etc.. than they could a car thats just as good to drift with a better starting point unmodified.
if i had the money i'd do it.. but i dont have the money..
im a bit of a fan of the drifting.. its pretty sik to watch.. and u cant doubt that it takes a fair bit of skill and balls to pull some of that **** off, lap after lap consistantly..
in saying that tho its pretty lame seeing ****s out on the street with drift toys haning off towhooks and stickers all over the car and no ***in idea how to drive..
but u get that everywhere..

26-02-07, 09:14 GMT+10#31 My vl is awsome to drift, just haven't got out there to do it yet... But it has skyline IRS so may as well be a skyline or silvia as far as suspention setup goes.

leave drifting to the people who do it best i say, and thats the japs.
getting smoke from the rear wheels with a powerslide is not drifting.
i just don't see any entertainment is watching aussies try and drift.
correct enough said.
like god have u seen how many different suspension kits there are available for them import guys off the shelves? its bs..
mashing the peddle and getting oversteer isnt "drifting" its just oversteer...
