Hey all havent been on for a while... had two weeks off over xmas so spent most of it on the car Have got a baby on the way so have been trying to get as much done as possible before the arrival.. Wanted to try something different with the fuel setup so decided to build a vinyl display box for it in the boot, which will be covered with perspex, have a light in it and be intergrated into the stereo install. Dummy fit before vinyling vinyling all pieces done all installed I also got my vacumn lines hooked up this week for my bov and reg and i finally got my dizzy cap painted i also finished cleaning up the wiring and fitted my coolant temp sensor which needed modifying to clear fuel rail. Thanks for all your comments so far guys... hoping to come on a cruise this year (im hoping anyway) Let me know wat u think cheers dave Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Loving the originality of the car here. I would also love to know how much money you have spent on speed flow fittings and braided hosing etc. Speed flow fitting and braided line for the bov? C'mon Na awesome stuff man. This will deficiently be a one of a kind build and all your hard work and great ideas will pay off. Things like these are even better because you have put all your great ideas to work and someone else with a fat wallet that would write a blank cheque to a company and say go nuts would never have a car as clever as this. Great job man Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

jeez weezy you almost made me blush Great to hear that man, makes all the nights in shed i bit easier to take... I don't even want to know what i have spent on earls fittings, but they have just given me a earls 15% card which is a bad sign i think. Still have to get the -16 and -20 fittings for the radiator... think ill continue to throw out the reciepts so can never add them up I suppose the downside to building this car myself is the length of time it is taking, working 6 days a week dosent help. Has now been off road for 3+ years which might explain why its going back together with a white body so i can drive it for a while. Cant wait any longer thanks again guys dave Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Hey all, thanks for all the great comments its great to hear that people like the stuff im doing Well ive got a bit more done this week so thought id post some more pics, moved onto interior this week and its starting to look like a car again Am planning to rebuild interior in fibreglass but have decided to put original stuff in for now to get car tuned and drive for a bit.... then ill start interior later... oh well wont bore u anymore Mounted the lt-12s and igniter box mounted the fuse box and relays behind glovebox Finally mounted my fronts seats Had to build custom adapter plates to mount on original runners but very happy And fitted my boost gauge and tacho Just waiting for my walbro pump to turn up and still sorting out the radiator, then can start it again.... Thanks again for all the comments dave Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

looking good man, love how uve done it all yourself i dont think it will be that loud though in the cabin....
wat u mean not that loud i was a little worried bout it being non directional myself, and not being loaded off anything. but being a sealed box it should be ok.... will be a different type of bass though... subs will be reverse mounted otherwise box will be too small Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
