im not going to sit here and type out the whole story as it would take to long. Basically i went there to buy good parts with good money and i walked away with a nightmare, unless they are big names and proven parts i wouldnt buy from them. If anyone is deadset on buying there stroker kits then go for it and find out but see if you can get it elsewhere as SSS are a pack of ass wipes that care only about the dollars changing hands and not the customer service. Oh and another thing, how can somebody sell something that they claim is proven when they dont really even know what they are selling???????????? the mind boggles

www.chasa.com.au (http://www.chasa.com.au) These guys advertised C.O.M.E 355 cranks for $990 a while ago. If they will still do that deal I don't see the point in buying a SSS crank.

Go with harrop or c.o.m.e racing you can never go wrong best off doing it right the first time I got a harrop in mine cost me $1100 better spending that little bit more in the end havent heard anything bad from them before its always places like SSS, pro-stroke ect ect... but up to you in the end if you want to do it cheap

When I was looking at one they quoted me the same as Sinister and said there would only be a 2 week wait.

scored my crankshaft rebuilder crank for $1100 inc postage, only because it had been made for a previous customer who had never paid/picked it up. Cheap & didn't have to wait, bonus !

I'd pay the extra grand just for piece of mind. If it's too good to be true, it usually is. That's what i've learnt anyway.

Sorry guys but the revolution has begun and if you keep a closed mind to it all, you'll be left behind... my dyno spec sheets don't lie.........get over it............ Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

i'm not saying its wrong, but that's not the question here. its not that the car made 460hp, its how long it will last, and keep making that power, that would be my main question and concern. it doesnt matter if it looks exactly the same, you could make one out of clay to look identical if you wanted to. i'd be more worried about the grain structure and integrity of the materials used

It's not about how much power it's making. I think it's about how long your gonna be making all that power.

With the availability of 355 Eagle and Scat cranks, there is really no need to get Sydney Speed cranks. These cranks are made by the two largest crank manufacturers in the world and the finish of them are fantastic. The Scat cranks we got in the other day are knife edged, oil galleries are radiused, they are a really good bit of gear. And all this for $500-$600. We sold out of our Holden journal scat cranks in one day. Scat chev journal cranks will be available in a few weeks, Eagle chev journal and Scat Holden journal cranks will be available again in December.

as far as im concerned the crank would have to be the most vital part of an engines workings............and if the crank goes **SNAP**, then itll be alot more than just a replacement crank......so i would be happy to spend the extra dollars on a race proven crank. especially with the rest of the engine in mind

I hate to burst your bubble rocket boy, but you're not telling the good people where those crappy eagle and scat cranks are made!!!!!!!!! Forget rocket and cowin and the way they are ripping off the public at large, not to mention everyone in the trade and holding the Australian public to ransom and bull****ting to all of you guys about Sydney Speed Supplies cause Im here to tell you that the SSS crank is made in the same factory as scat and eagle and is made of a better grade of steel than the harrop and if you read Street Machine you will find out all about it.The only reason rocket bags them is because they know the new SSS crank will put a big dent in their sales when Street Machine delivers...........
